Aaron Dell has started his career on a high note.
In 60 Minutes of play, Aaron Dell allowed two goals and made 21 saves with a save percentage of .913.
But it wasn’t just Aaron who played well tonight.
Worcester Hockey alumni scored every goal for San Jose and threw in a pair of assists.
In an otherwise quiet period, Sharks scored once and allowed 4 shots. Melker Karlsson scored off a pass from Tommy Wingels. (Micheal Haley was also credited with an assist on the play.)
In the second period, Dell gave up his First and Second goals from Anthony Beauvillier and Anders Lee roughly 2 minutes apart, halfway through the second period. (Sound familiar, Worcester Sharks fans?)
In the final two minutes of the period, Tomas Hertl scores after a puck is deflected and goes in. At the end of the second period, the game is tied, 2-2.
In the third period, Joe Pavelski redirects Joe Thornton’s pass (top shelf) for the Game Winning goal.
The San Jose Sharks defeat the New York Islanders, 3-2.
Note: We don’t plan on regularly covering San Jose Sharks games, we have only kept up with this game because a popular Worcester Hockey Alumni made his NHL debut which makes the game more notable. When more debuts happen, we may cover them again.
