Welcome to Woo Hockey!

It’s been nearly two years since we’ve started our Facebook page – Save Worcester Hockey.

Over the past two years, we’ve amassed a combined 2,000+ followers on our Facebook and Twitter pages, made a ton of new friends, and helped bring a new hockey team to Worcester. Since the beginning of our journey, we’ve worked tirelessly to promote news, happenings, and events going on within the Worcester Hockey community.

Our next adventure has only just begun. Over the next year, we plan on using this site to have everything regarding Worcester’s Hockey history all in one place. We plan on providing updates on past and present Worcester hockey players, archived content on our past Sharks and IceCats, and provide content our newest arrival, the Worcester Railers.

We believe that Worcester hockey can always use more exposure through social media which in turn, lead more fans attending more games and lead to the success of a hockey franchise. Woo Hockey will be sharing game day updates when the puck drops on October 14, 2017 and for every Railers game going forward.

If you aren’t already a Railers HC member, we encourage you to become a member today. Memberships are included with a deposit for season tickets, which is $50 per membership. Be one of the first 1,000 season ticket holders and you’ll be included in the Founder’s Circle, which includes many awesome benefits including having your name on your seats and having your name memorialized on a special plaque in the DCU Center! Our first content piece will be out later tonight following the Railers “Skate to the Date” event. We expect to hear from Railers’ head coach Jamie Russell at the event and we’re sure they’re will be plenty of developments about the hockey club at the event.  We’ll be sharing pictures and information from the event and we’ll be covering every Railers events from here on out, so stay tuned!
