Notes
- Worcester Scratches: Gleb Veremyev, Luke Pavivich, MacAuley Carson, Michael Ferrandino, Porter Schachle, Tanner Schachle, and Tristan Lennox.
- Norfolk Scratches: Alex Worthington, Brayden Nicholetts, Connor Fedorek, German Yavaş, Grant Hebert, Jaxon Castor, Jaydon Dureau, and Quinn Ryan.
- Gleb Vermeyev was recalled to the Bridgeport Islanders on Thursday.
- A rumor spread throughout social media on Friday about a potential player strike next week. While everything is speculation until it happens, the players in the ECHL still have a lot at risk if they strike that goes beyond their paycheck. Both the AHL and ECHL collective bargaining agreements expired at the end of last season and the seasons started under terms of the previous agreement.
- The Railers released the design for the upcoming IceCats jersey next month. It’s based off the IceCats’ fifth year alternate jersey. Kudos to Booster Club President Rich Lundin who worked with Railers COO Mike Myers throughout the design process to get fonts, sizing, and layout as close as they could to the original. The proofs I’ve seen of the jersey look sharp, I’m hoping these are proper jerseys with patches.
- Following Friday night’s game, the Railers had the following scoring streaks and droughts:
- Anthony Hora is without a point in his last fourteen games.
- Max Dorrington is without a point in his last five games.
- Adam Samuelsson is without a point in his last fourteen games.
- Ross Mitton is without a point in his last five games.
- Riley Piercey is without a point in his last five games.
- TJ Walsh is without a point in his last three games.
- Cole Donhauser is now on a three-game point streak. (2-2-4)
- Matt DeMelis snapped a four game goal streak. (4-1-5)
- Drew Callin is now on a three-game goal streak. (3-3-6)
- Gabe Blanchard is without a point in his last six games.
