Beast Notes
- Michael McNiven was recalled to the Laval Rocket after the game on Wednesday. Wednesday’s game was the only game that McNiven was dressed for during his assignment for Brampton. Brampton has signed Austin Lotz as their back-up with Jake Patterson being the expected starter for tonight’s game. Lotz was released by the Reading Royals earlier in the week.
- Daniel Ciampini was recalled on Thursday to the Belleville Senators.
- Beast traded for Adrian Carbonara last night from the Cincinnati Cyclones for future considerations. Carbonara has no points in seven games this season.
- Jordan Henry is tied for second in goals for all ECHL defensemen with seven.
- David Pacan is ranked third in points with 28 points in 22 games this season and is ranked second in goals with 14.
- Beast played with 15 skaters on Wednesday, and that appears to be the case again tonight.
- Scratches for Brampton appear to be:
- Artur Tianulin – Possible immigration/visa issues, has only played in Brampton Home games and those against Newfoundland.
- Brandon MacLean – Injured, last played on October 14.
- Reggie Traccitto – Injured, last played on October 21.
- Mike Folkes – Injured, hasn’t played in the regular season.
Railers Notes
- Nick Bligh was activated from the Railers’ reserve on Thursday, and Ivan Kosorenkov was placed on reserve. It looks like Kosorenkov will sit out tonight’s game with that transaction.
- Evan Buitenhuis will get the start tonight, Ryan Hubbard will once again be the back-up.
- Woody Hudson is on a cold streak, he hasn’t scored in his last seven games.
- Matt Gaudreau has 3 points in his last four games.
- Tyler Barnes has six points in his last three games and is on a three-game point streak.
- Ryan Hitchcock has seven points in his last four games played and is on a four-game point streak.
- Mike Cornell is tied for first in the ECHL for the most minor penalties at 15. (Tied with Greenville’s Dan Milan)
